Outer Banks Tea Party is pleased to announce that Kathy Hartkopf of FreedomWorks North Carolina will be our guest speaker at the July meeting. She will talk to us about the important role that we as activists will play in the 2012 election. Learn what you can do to make a real difference in 2012!
It was great meeting so many local conservatives at the Dare Day Festival this year. We gave away a lot of pocket Constitutions and lots of people were interested to know when we’d be meeting again. Clearly there is a conservative revolution going on not only in this country and in our state but right here in Dare County. Thanks to all who stopped by our booth. We hope to see you on the 21st.
The Dare Day Festival is this Saturday, June 4th, on the Manteo Waterfront. OBX Tea Party is looking for a couple of volunteers to help set up and/or staff our booth. This is a fun event. We always meet a lot of new people who are excited to find that there are other conservatives like them on the beach.
If you have a few hours to spare on Saturday, contact me asap. Booth setup starts at 6am and the festival runs from 9am-5pm. No amount of time is too little to volunteer. Only have an hour? No problem. Have a half day? Even better. Contact me asap to schedule your time.
