- Discuss issues rationally with your friends, neighbors, co-workers
- Attend local Board Meetings and voice your opinion during public comment
- If you drive by someone with a conservative bumper sticker, give them honk or a thumbs up.
- If you see someone in a parking lot with a conservative t-shirt or bumper sticker, strike up a conversation
- Cheer loudly when a conservative speaks at a public meeting
- Vote
- Come to a Tea Party event or meeting
- Share your books
- Borrow a book from the Outer Banks Tea Party Library
- Start a book club
- Get involved with a candidate's campaign that shares your values (distribute bumper sticker, canvas, phone bank)
- Get involved with the local political party for Get Out the Vote efforts
