Outer Banks Tea Party is a conservative non-partisan group of concerned citizens dedicated to:
- Defending our God given rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness
- Advocating for Constitutionally limited and fiscally responsible government
- Organizing fellow citizens to stand as one clear voice against government excess.
About Us
Founded in 2010, the Outer Banks Tea Party is a non-profit grassroots organization which believes in Constitutionally Limited Government, Fiscal Responsibility and Free Markets. We are individuals united by our core values which are derived from the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution of the United States of America, and the Bill of Rights as explained in the Federalist Papers, among other founding documents. We recognize and support the strength of grassroots organization powered by activism and civic responsibility at a local level. We hold that the United States is a Republic conceived by its architects as a nation whose people were granted “inalienable rights” by our Creator. Chiefly among these are the rights to “life, liberty and pursuit of happiness”. The Outer Banks Tea Party members stand with our Founders, as heirs to the Republic, to claim our rights and duties which preserve their legacy and our own. We hold, as did the Founders, that there exists an inherent benefit to our Country when private property and prosperity are secured by natural law and the rights of the individual.
We are not a third political party and do not advocate formation of a third party.
We are located on the Outer Banks of North Carolina in Dare County. We welcome members from all over, especially those who live in neighboring counties, those who live here part-time and those who vacation on the Outer Banks.
