US Senate

The US Senate is composed to 50 members, two from each state. They are elected to six year terms in a statewide election. North Carolina's two senators are Richard Burr (R) and Kay Hagan (D). Richard Burr is up for re-election in 2010. Kay Hagan's seat will be up in 2014.
